A Guide For The Wandering Photographer
Alright, did it! I've managed to finish it before we leave; my Guide For The Wandering Photographer. Why this guide, you'll ask? Well..., I'm sick and tired of the questions all of you send me about my pictures...
Ha! Just kidding... I love you all and I've always responded gladly to those questions but I thought, when we're on the road, it would be easier to write everything down in one compact photography guide. And, let's be honest, in the meantime I can make a little money on the side while I help you guys with those questions about my work...

A photography guide with advice and ideas to get you out there and start shooting!
What's it all about? It's not a beginner's digital photography guide with basic advice and general tips. I don't explain how a digital camera works or what exposure, aperture and shutter speed means. It's a guide for photographers who are looking for some professional photography advice and inspiration or if you want to know how I work as a photographer traveling the world.
I explain what photography gear I use (and why I love it) when I'm traveling or doing an assignment. I give tips on light, location, my approach to portrait photography and what I do when I post process with some before and after pictures.
Whether you like street photography or portrait photography, I stuffed the guide with my personal photography advice and lots example photos with camera settings.
To finish, I share a few of the stories behind the pictures because most people will never hear those when they look at photos and they're often just as interesting as the picture itself.
A good addition to a professional photography course
So, if you're looking for basic digital photography techniques then this might not be what you're looking for. I've been a professional photographer for quite some time now and I have my own methods, habits and ways of working that I want to share in this photography guide; and they changed a lot compared to when I was studying photography 10 years ago.
If you want to define your own style of photography more or if you're in an advanced photography course then this guide will give you some extra advice, ideas and inspiration. Maybe you'd like to step up to become a professional photographer yourself?
It doesn't matter if you just want to improve your photos or if you want to take it more seriously. My main goal is for you to get out there and start photographing and I think my tips and advice could be a good addition to any professional photography guide.
